Become a Field Officer for the 2026 Census - Applications are now open

Field Officers are the local face of the Census. You will:

• Deliver Census letters and forms
• Answer questions from the public
• Follow up with households that haven’t yet responded

Roles are available across capital cities, regional towns, and remote areas.  These jobs are temporary and you can work flexibly across weekdays, weekends, and evenings.
