About the grants
The COMPACT Social Cohesion and Community Resilience Grants 2026 – 2028 is a special grants round of the Community Partnership Action (COMPACT) Program. It will deliver $1.2 million to projects supporting whole-of-community recovery in the wake of the Bondi terrorist attack. The grants aim to harness the community goodwill that emerged in response to the attack.
Who can apply
Eligible not-for-profit organisations in NSW can apply for funding for projects that support youth-led solutions for social cohesion, strengthen cross-cultural connections and nurture empathy for victims of hate and extremism.
How to applyApplications must be submitted through the Multicultural NSW SmartyGrants portal by 4pm on Friday 29 May 2026.
